My name is Sunny Chae but everyone knows me as “Mama Sunny”. I have worked in the entertainment industry for 40 years and realize that there are so many people who need guidance on how to achieve their dreams, direction in life or prayer. Remember: Who you are is more important than what you can do.
I want to give you the chance to ask questions, free of charge about this industry, about spiritual direction or just help to get focused and motivated. There are other people who charge for this service but getting your questions answered or to learn about this business should be done for free. I will always be honest and up front with you, even if it’s not the answer you want to hear.

My passion is helping people. As a veteran of the industry and celebrating my 60th birthday this year, I feel it is my duty to share what I have learned and gained through my life to mentor, teach and inspire people to come forward and start off with the right information and the right network. Talent and parents in this business need to be educated properly. Not everyone will make it, not everyone will get a job. This journey is not about just being a successful model or talent, by pursuing their dreams people feed their spirit, they are happier, they take time to evaluate and better themselves to provide the best product they can. Self-awareness, confidence and understanding of who you are has to come from within. This must be built from the beginning before starting to build your brand.

There are many pros and cons in this business and everyone has an opinion. We hear a lot of negative stories and contradicting opinions about what is right and wrong. The most unfortunate thing I hear about is talents who have tremendous potential but give up on their dreams because they got fooled into spending money at modeling school or conventions and can no longer support their dreams or the dreams of their children because their life savings are gone. These people become skeptical of everything and often miss their true chance to succeed.

There are two sides to the story. Some people have unrealistic expectations for what they will gain from this business, or they did not take time to really research. Talents should not spend $10,000+ to get started, but they do and then regret making an unwise choice. They also turn around and blame anyone but themselves, because good sales people hype up a talent with unrealistic dreams and they do not like to hear constructive criticism. Those hyped up words influence them to make their decision.

There are many stories of corruption, being misled through conventions and schools, so I believe that by being open to the public and offering free advice, information and seminars to truly protect talent, they can make better decisions and pursue their business with confidence.
